Having originally started our business 12 years ago in SE23 Forest Hills south London, we relocated to the BR1 Bromley, Kent area a few years back so that we could service South London and parts of Kent, opening up our services to cover Beckenham, Hayes, Shortlands & Bromley, so BR1, BR2, BR3, BR4, BR7 areas as well.
Most of our kitchen renovations need good lighting to set the right mood in the kitchen, the kitchens we install have some different workstations like the sink area for washing up and the cooking station area for chopping or preparation. In the preparation areas this can be dark because of the overhead wall units that take away the natural light and ceiling lights. For this situation we would recommend some under cupboard lights to give you back your light.
We have found that the new LED strip lights are much better than standard under cupboard lights in many ways. The LED strip lights can be placed the full length of the unit instead of just part of the unit. There is limited space under the unit some having slim LED lights saves space. We also see that hiding the LED lights out of view is possible so the is makes the kitchen look clean and tide in its appearance.
When we are installing any kitchens can give you a separate light switch so they can be switched on individually or all at once so you can control the lighting. All of our lighting is installed to NIC certification standards and we issue an NIC certificate for all our electrical works on completion.
