We know that worktop installation is a very important part of a kitchen fitters job, and the options are endless so I wanted to give you all some ways to understand a kitchen fitter’s labour costing.
When fitting a standard veneer finished worktop which has many effects such as marble, speckled finish these worktops these are ‘limited’ in their installation, we can join the worktops with joining bars or by cutting and clamping them together which is better and more aesthetically pleasing.
We also see a lot of clients these days wanting natural stone worktops and we are not able to install these worktops, this is because you will need a specialist in this specific field of works. However, did you know there is an alternative? Yes, it is known as a resin worktop, which are the ‘look a like’ version of the stone worktop but at a fraction of the price and a kitchen fitter can install them. The good thing with stone or resin worktops is that you can have under mounted sinks and and built in draining flutes which will add a touch of class to you kitchen installation.
