Here at JW McDonald Building Services Ltd, we look at bathroom remodelling as a way of moving your bathroom to a new and inviting place in your home. We can look at this from a standpoint of adding value to your property as well as the new bathroom install.

The new bathroom renovation should consist of good plumbing or pipework and making sure that there is very good cost effective heating service. The good thing to remember is always, try to re-new the plastic waste pipe, which is also hidden under the floorboards and water test them regularly to test for leaks. We would also recommend that after the pipe is run and all the baller fix valves are set and all the pipe work should be left under pressure and on test for at least 24 hours.

The bath can now be set in place so you can work out the tiling or if it’s a walk in shower it will just be a case of working out were all the cut tiles will end up, we call this sizing out a room. The bathroom ideas should start to take shape after this as there are only the bathroom / shower fittings left to install.

Here at JW McDonald Building Services Ltd we take on rather alot of plastering & refurbishment projects. The last plastering & refurbishment job we completed was based in Forest Hill SE23 area. This is close to Catford SE6 or Lewisham SE13 for people that are new to the south London area.

The plastering refurbishment job consisted of us consulting with the client about what they would like to achieve. This plastering refurbishment job was aimed at the client buying the property to then refurbish it, and then go on to rent it out on completion.
